Community Profile

weekly_command is a community oriented for female submissives and slaves, as well as for those women who wish to explore submission. Why create such a community? For the moderator, a Master currently without a sub or a slave, it is a small step toward filling a personal need. On the other hand, there are subs and slaves who may benefit from this on a personal level, especially if they are currently without a Master or a Mistress; those who wish to explore submission could find this community particularly beneficial, as it would be a safe way to experiment and determine if this is something they truly wish to pursue further with someone physically present to guide them.

The premise is that weekly, on Thursdays, the community's moderator will post a command, and the slaves and submissives will have one week to complete the assigned task. These will always carry a writing component in the form of a comment on each command post from the moderator, but some will have an "action" component for which a report will fulfill the writing component. Ideally, there will be an even trade between these types of commands: a pure writing assignment one week, and an action/writing combination the following week.

Why Thursdays? The reason for Thursday commands is because I realize that a sub/slave may not necessarily have time or ability to complete the commands until the weekend, or perhaps even later, and if completing the command requires the sub/slave to acquire supplies first, it will also allow up to six days (including a full weekend, when most people have additional time for shopping) for that to happen.

Will there be a "punishment" if a sub/slave fails to complete the assigned command/task? From the moderator, no. From herself, perhaps a nagging sense of guilt. From her Master and/or Mistress, if applicable, maybe.

That said, those who already serve a Dominant may find some of these commands to run counter to any rules of their slavery or submission. For example, a slave may have a requirement that she may not orgasm without permission, while the command for that week includes an orgasm. It is therefore strongly suggested that those who serve a Dominant obtain permission first before attempting to complete a command given in this community.

Membership is granted only to those who are at least eighteen years of age and who have (and maintain) their full birth date (not just birth year) in their LJ profiles. While the commands are intended for female submissives and slaves, E/everyone on both sides of the collar is welcome to join within the guidelines of the previous sentence.

Will this community ultimately be successful? Only time will tell. But ideally, everyone who participates will find this an enjoyable experiment within the realm of BDSM.
